Directions to Syria Shrine Center

From Route 28 South/North:  Take Route 28 south/north to exit #12 (Cheswick/Springdale).  At the end of either ramp you will arrive at a stop sign.  Turn right onto Hite Road/Nixon Road.  Travel approximately one mile to another stop sign on Little Deer Creek Road (gas station opposite you).  Turn left at this stop sign onto Little Deer Creek Road.  Travel approximately 1.5 miles on Little Deer Creek Road past a cemetery on your left to the Shrine Center ahead on left.  When the road splits into two lanes, keep to the left lane.  Turn left into Shrine Center with adequate parking surrounding facility.

From PA Turnpike:  Take PA Turnpike (I-76) east/west to exit #48 (Allegheny Valley).  Upon exiting toll booths, stay to the left (New Kensington/Cheswick/Springdale Ramp).  Proceed down turnpike ramp and head east on Freeport Road.  The first traffic signal you come to will be at Clyde & Patti’s Tavern.  Turn left at this traffic signal and proceed on Pearl Avenue for about one mile to Shrine Center, which will be ahead on your right.

From New Kensington Bridge:  Travel across New Kensington Bridge to Allegheny County (Springdale) side.  At traffic signal, turn left and head towards Springdale.  This is Freeport Road.  You will travel through 6 traffic signals (Butler St, School St, James St, Colfax St, Cheswick Theaters, Pillow Ave) on Freeport Road.  At the seventh signal (Pearl Ave – Clyde & Patti’s Tavern), you will turn right and travel approximately one mile to the Shrine Center on your right.

From Oakmont (Hulton) Bridge:  Travel from Oakmont across bridge to Harmarville side.  At traffic signal, turn right onto Freeport Road.  Proceed through 4 traffic signals (Guys Run Rd, Route 910, Denny’s, McDonalds) on Freeport Road.  At the fifth traffic signal (Clyde & Patti’s Tavern), turn left.  Travel approximately one mile on Pearl Avenue to the Shrine Center on right.

From Route 910:  Travel east on 910 until traffic signal at Freeport Road in Harmarville (end of Route 910).  You must be in the left turning lane at signal.  Turn left onto Freeport Road and proceed east toward Springdale/Cheswick/New Kensington.  Stay in the left of two lanes through two traffic signals (Denny’s, McDonalds).  At the third signal (Clyde & Patti’s Tavern), turn left onto Pearl Avenue.  Proceed for approximately 1 mile to the Shrine Center on right.
